@go2sea_southafrica 2026: Seven days of bliss on my bike!
From the start at Clarens to the finish line at Salt Rock Hotel, I loved every single moment.
The route was amazing, fun, fast single track sections that challenged my technical skills and miles of district roads to appreciate the surrounding beauty of the Free State’s and KZN’s farming communities.
Brilliantly organised by Gary, Wappo and Jani. Food was amazing and vibe was high energy.
Thanks to DriveTrain Academy for my Go2Sea training program. I started each day feeling strong and finished each day with more than enough in my legs for the duration of the race.
I really valued going into Go2Sea knowing that I had done sufficient training. I felt confident that I would finish each day comfortably, and I did!
I’m looking forward to my next big MTB challenge😁
Thanks again, DriveTrain!

What a morning!
The DriveTrain Dash went ahead on a properly cold Ballito morning. We swapped the trails for coffee, fireside chats and great company at @holla_trails and the support that showed up to meet Cody, Josh, and Madi was incredible.
Raffles and lucky draws were drawn on the day, with more prizes still to come. A huge thank you to our voucher sponsors for making the spot prizes possible:
• @propafoodbar
• @scoop_ice_cream
• @waxysballito
• @thebiltongco_op
• @birdandcosouthafrica
The remaining lucky draws will take place on 26 August.
Donations are still open and every contribution continues to help send our four junior riders to the XCO World Championships in Italy.
Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, or simply showed love for the riders.

SA Gravel Champs 🏆 The route was fast, gusty, and dusty.
Well done @danvanderwatt who secured a 5th spot in the Elite Men category
@christopher_s_08 who manage a fantastic 2nd in the junior category after a crash on the start line, and Ty for a 3rd in the Vet category.

What a weekend at the SA XCM Champs and race up at Karkloof! 🎉 The Sappi Karkloof Trail Festival once again delivered the goods and absolutely smashed it. Riders from all over South Africa descended on @karkloofcountryclub and the vibes were electric.
Great results across the board, and as always, those fantastic but properly technical trails kept everyone smiling (and breathing hard). Absolute treat to ride.
Well done to everyone involved.

🌍🇿🇦 From South Africa to Europe
With Mom by their side! ❤️
We’re so proud of our two DriveTrain riders who raced in Europe earlier this year. Not only did they embrace the cold weather and tough European races, but their amazing moms joined them for the adventure!
Nothing beats family support on and off the bike!

All we know is that this year`s @capeepic was tough, in many ways, for all of the riders at different levels. But we all took away moments and memories that we can talk about for many more Epic events to come. The achievement over every hill, through every stage, speaks louder than the toughness of the event.
Well done to all who took on this grueling but beautiful edition 👏

🚵♀️💙 Huge congratulations to @rouxda4383 and her partner @juanitarosemackenzie on an absolutely phenomenal category victory at the 2026 @capeepic
These two incredible ladies rode to win the NTT Data Masters Women category, claiming the blue jersey with style and grit after 8 epic days in the saddle. They started strong, sitting in 2nd after the opening stages, then battled hard in an intense race-within-a-race to hold onto their lead all the way to the finish line. What a masterclass in determination and teamwork, and a big congratulations to the podium winners 🏆
The post-stage-race blues are real... we`re all feeling that empty, "what now?" vibe after such an intense week. But these two finished in the blue jersey, and we`re pretty sure they`re experiencing a whole different (and much happier) kind of blue right now! 😄
We are so incredibly proud of the grit, resilience, and heart they showed every single day. This is a massive achievement and an inspiration to so many.
A massive thank you to all their sponsors for believing in them and making this possible:

The @tankwatrek delivered four epic days of dust, climbs, and pure MTB magic in the wild Cederberg landscapes!
Nothing beats crossing that finish line covered in dust with your partner. What an adventure to kick off the season! 🚵♂️🔥
